In chemistry class we are doing a project on drugs and medications. The drug that me and my partner picked was Zoloft. I read a very inspirational book called It's Kind of Funny Story by Ned Vizzini in the 8th grade. The author creates his own dilemma about what the life of a person suffering with depression would be like. The Main character was diagnosed with depression and admitted into a hospital-were the patients also have a psychological problem- shortly after he decided to take his life by jumping off the Brooklyn bridge. The main character's Doctor prescribed Zoloft and readers of this book got a chance to see what his life was like while taking this medication.

Hi my name is Michelle Carter and i am an 11th grade student at Harbor Prep. I love exercise and I play three different sports.

Zoloft is an interesting drug. I wonder how this drug affects society and how it chemically affects the body.
